Do you enjoy working on complex mechanical assemblies and seeing your designs come to life in real-world machines?

At SDK Engineering, you will work on the installation and modification of heavy industrial machinery. This is not standard drafting work, you will be involved in technically challenging projects where you develop complete assemblies and directly impact the final product.

You will work with Autodesk Inventor and Vault, collaborating closely with engineering and production to ensure designs are not only accurate, but also practical and manufacturable.

What will you do

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for installation and modification projects
• Build and manage complex assemblies and sub-assemblies
• Work with Autodesk Inventor and Vault for design and version control
• Translate technical challenges into practical, manufacturable solutions
• Collaborate with engineering, work preparation and workshop teams
• Verify dimensions, tolerances and manufacturability
• Independently manage your own projects and drawing packages

What do we expect from you

• Proven experience as a technical draftsman or mechanical designer in machine building or heavy industry
• Strong experience with Autodesk Inventor
• Experience with Vault or similar PDM systems
• Ability to work with complex assemblies
• High level of independence and ownership
• Strong technical insight into how machines are built and assembled
• MBO+/HBO level (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or similar
