SDK consists of Esdeka Holding B.V., SDK DieselSupport B.V., and SDK Engineering B.V. From our base in Werkendam, we work daily on innovative solutions within the maritime, industrial, and mobile sectors.

SDK DieselSupport specializes in maintenance, overhauls, and service of diesel engines and propulsion systems. SDK Engineering develops and implements customized solutions in the field of hybrid and fully electric drive systems. Due to our growth and further professionalization, we are looking for a Financial Controller who, together with two colleagues, will further shape the financial administration and business operations.

Your role

As a Financial Controller, you are an important link within our organization. Together with two colleagues, you ensure reliable financial administration and provide management with insight into the financial performance of the organization. You work closely with the financial director, colleagues from various departments, and our external accountant.

This position offers a lot of independence and room to improve processes. We are therefore looking for someone who not only executes but also likes to think about how things can be done smarter and more efficiently.

What will you do?

Daily financial management

• Managing the financial administration.

• Handling accounts receivable and accounts payable administration.

• Processing and checking purchase, sales, and bank transactions.

• Monitoring payment terms and liquidity position.

• Managing insurances, vehicle fleet, and financial master data.

• Handling time, inventory, and production administration.

Reporting & analysis

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and management reports.

• Preparing and monitoring liquidity forecasts and cash flow.

• Analyzing project results and identifying deviations.

• Reporting on production, order portfolio, and financial progress.

Tax obligations & year-end closing

• Preparing and checking VAT returns.

• Supporting other tax filings.

• Preparing the annual accounts and audit.

Process optimization

• Improving and optimizing financial processes.

• Managing and further developing our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).

• Setting up and performing weekly and monthly checks.

Who are you?

You are a calm and accurate professional who likes to take responsibility. You enjoy analyzing figures, creating overview, and supporting colleagues with reliable financial information.

In addition, you have:

• Higher professional education (HBO) level (business economics, finance, or similar).

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience with financial administration and reporting.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

• A proactive and independent work attitude.

• Good communication skills.

• Attention to detail and process improvement.
