The supplied engine from KVT takes care of combustion, while the CHD ensures this happens as efficiently as possible. Whether the hydrogen engine runs or not depends on the required power. If possible, it runs solely on the battery pack. Is the battery empty? Then the combustion engine charges the batteries, allowing work to continue as usual.
